34 Weeks!

We officially have two movers and shakers! Gavin has picked up speed with his crawl and Graysen is taking his new found freedom very slow! For their 34 week picture, I wanted to show how both boys are crawling; I imagined it going better in my mind! Since I only get these blocks out once a week, Gavin and Graysen get so excited to see them! I snapped this photo and heard a beep - the memory card was full!!!!! We only had once chance for this picture; not the best, but not the worst!
Graysen half way under the couch!
This is how I found Gavin when he first learned to crawl too!

We took our very first road trip to Wichita for a (very beautiful & fun) wedding! The boys did pretty well in the car; they didn't last as long as we wanted, but longer than we expected! Gavin and Graysen stayed with my family during the wedding and had a great time! They even got to meet my Grandpa for the first time!!!!!!!!!!

Grandpa & Grandma working with Gavin

This week the weather was so nice we had to be outside! Graysen and Gavin loved the wind and laughed when it blew in their hair. They loved to watch cars drive by and got really excited when a few runner went by. The only thing they didn't like was the grass. They would touch it and look at me like I had done something wrong!!!!

Mike's parents were in town this week to visit Janie's brother so Graysen and Gavin were able to hang out with Grammy and Poppy and meet their Great Aunt and Uncle Jackie and Jimmie!

While we had the help, we decided to move Gavin and Graysen's cribs to the lowest setting in case they start to pull up soon! Like all projects, one of the cribs was a breeze, but the other one took 4 times as long and a few tools to lower!

Poppy making our lives easier!

Graysen and Gavin have now moved onto meats. Graysen loved both the Chicken and Turkey, but Gavin did not! I don't blame him, it smells terrible!!!!!!!
Gavin giving us his thoughts on turkey!

Graysen trying to move his play gym!
Both boys have been babbling vowel sounds, but this week Graysen began saying Da Da! The books say that he is just making sounds, but we both like to think he knows what he is saying! Mike loves it because then Graysen said Da Da first, I like it because I can say Graysen needs you!

Gavin found his way to the sun room, only to discover he did not like the way the rug felt on his knees! He was hollering for help, so like any good mom, I took this picture and then rescued him!

Graysen loves his toes!

This is Graysen - I think!
They both love to play with their toy bucket, we could have saved so much money on toys if we had only known the bucket would be so popular!

From this point forward, you're probably going to have a tough time distracting them from the blocks long enough to get a decent picture. The kids LOVE those blocks for some reason! Hayes has always been able to play with his set of blocks but still goes bonkers over the specific ones that spell out whatever week or month we're on. The boys are getting so big!! Are you having more fun or just more work now that they're mobile? I don't know how you do it with two---you must be SUPER MOM!!!
