Oh Boy...Oh Boy!: 45 Weeks!

This week we are still battling colds and the boys ended up with pink eye! It has been a little rough at our house, but we are doing much better and hope to be free of illness soon!

We took our 45 week pictures in the sun room, one of Graysen and Gavin's favorite places to play, because it went through lots of changes this week! The boys love to play with the door to this room and got a little rough with it this week so we had to take the door down. They spent the entire evening looking for it after Mike took it off the hinges! They also found the wooded peg we had in the sliding glass door for security and loved hitting the floor and each other with it, so it had to find a new home too! All kinds of toys to play with and a door and a wooden stick are their favorites! ;-)

We spent a little time practicing going up the stairs. Our Parents As Teachers visitor told us it is great exercise and helps to build muscles for walking. They both really enjoy this activity and have no concept of the danger! They both love nightlights so I used one on the stairs for a little incentive! We only go up about 3 - 4 steps from the bottom, but when Dad came home they climbed to the very top of the steps to see him and get something so much better than a nightlight - one of Dad's HUGS!

We bought more than our fare share of Boy Scout Popcorn this year and although the popcorn is good, Gavin and Graysen LOVE the tins it comes in! These tins have brought hours of fun! You can hide things in them, they make loud noise, you can bang on them, they roll, they are shinny, and so much more....
