13 Months Old!

The boys have lots of favorite toys, but recently they have flocked to a drawer in the kitchen to find lots of items to play with! They love our phone book, notepads and cookbooks, but their favorites are the coupon book & a roll of tape!

Graysen with his favorite - the roll of tape!

A student at Mike's school recently lead a school-wide fundraising effort for Haiti and was featured on the news! As the principal, Mike was asked to say a few words about the student so we were able to see him on TV too!

Graysen found a new toy in basement, but didn't know how to use the hammer. For some reason I showed him how to tap with it and hammering has become his favorite activity!

Below are the infamous pics of Gavin & Graysen showing off the skill of putting things on their head! Unfortunately, they don't like to do this on request anymore...

Gavin & Graysen's surgery went well and we all survived the recovery! We were so proud of them! They didn't cry or seem upset that they were missing breakfast while we waited for their early morning surgery. They both loved the hospital bed, it was shinny and made lots of noise when they shook it! They did well without us in the recovery room and one of the nurses said she wanted to take them home!

How cute are these hospital gowns?!?!?

Graysen went first, so we had a little more time to play with Gavin. He became very sleepy before his surgery and was laying down in his bed when the nurse came to get him.

Gavin had his head on Gavin's right up until we took out the camera!

Tight spaces have become a favorite hangout for both boys!
Graysen was wedging himself between his crib and the wall so he can get his pacifier and snuggly! After a few times, we moved the crib closer to the wall so he can't do this anymore!
Gavin couldn't quite figure out how to ride this toy and then he couldn't get out on his own!

I'm so glad they're doing well after their surgeries! I'll bet they are into everything these days! What cutie-pies! And I can't believe they are 13 months old already. You guys are doing an amazing job!
