Still Measuring Big...Is There More Than One?!

On August 20th, we went to our appointment with hopes to find out more information on what measuring big meant. Dr. Huerter discovered that we were again "measuring big" and said it was not a big deal since we had been consistently measuring big. Then she moved on to listen to the heartbeat. This time things seemed a little different, and she spent more time moving back and forth from the left side to the right listening to the heartbeat, or should we say heartbeats. She said it sounds like the left side is consistent at 140 and the right side is consistent at 150. She said this can be common since the baby's heartbeat can reverberate and produce the sound of two beats. Just to be on the safe side, she said we would need to have sonogram, tomorrow, to see if there is one or two...or more (not funny Dr. Heurter).

We scheduled our sonogram for Friday, August 22, and we are very excited to meet baby/babies Koonce! Dr. Huerter shared with us that their sono tech was very experienced and would be able to produce a variety of detailed images for us, which we will share as soon as possible.
